SomKnown as the "Valley Isle," Maui is dabbed with interesting towns, craftsman groups and nearby top choices that have been around for eras. Go to Wailuku for baked goods from a "mother and pop" bread kitchen, or go to Lahaina for an essence of Maui's well known homestead to table cooking. From shining shorelines and hallowed Iao Valley to moving humpback whales and dusk on Haleakala, it's not amazing Maui was voted the "Best Island" by the perusers of Conde Nast Traveler for over a quarter century.
